The Wolverine scared? Nah! Hugh Jackman?!? Well, yes, actually he was.
As a child he said “I had a lot of fears. I was afraid of heights; I was afraid of the dark; I was afraid of what people thought—and I hated the prison of that fear.”
He struggled with that all throughout childhood and into adulthood. Then he found a solution. It was the same solution I found when I started this mission to create MindEDU.
I was a single dad and had just been given primary custody of my beautiful identical twin two year-old daughters. Working difficult long hours, short on sleep, the girls with me almost full time, wondering if I was providing enough nurturing, living off my remaining dwindling savings with no income and no support, it was a lot of stress.
I knew stress could be a killer for me, eventually. But the science about what stress would do to my daughters at such a young age and how devastating it can be, I knew I had to do something.
There's a very long list of successful people who are near disciples about this same solution. Just to name a few. Bill and Melinda Gates, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, LeBron James, Tom Hanks. I could go on and on and on.
